@mariahhaberman Bachelorette mode: unlocked 🔓Had the best weekend ever taking over Scottsdale with 7 of my all-time favorite girls! 🌵 🪩 #bacheloretteparty #girlsweekend #scottsdale #oldtownscottsdale ♬ I'm Good (Blue) - David Guetta & Bebe Rexha
I love bachelorette parties. From Vegas to Orlando to rural Wisconsin, some of my favorite memories with friends have come out of crazy-fun bachelorette weekends.
For my own bachelorette party, I originally had my eye on Tulum, Mexico. But because flights were so outrageous, I decided to make a switch to another popular, but slightly easier-to-get-to destination: Scottsdale, Arizona.
This desert oasis offers plenty of options for nightlife, delicious food, and outdoor activities to keep you and your squad entertained. Here’s where our crew headed during our weekend in Scottsdale:
BARS
Bottled Blonde: If you’re looking for a fun, trendy spot to dance the night away, Bottle Blonde is the place to be. With its high-energy club atmosphere and large outdoor patio, this bar is perfect for a night out with the girls.
Old Town Tavern: For a more low-key vibe, head to Old Town Tavern. This bar offers a great selection of craft beers and cocktails, as well as live music on the weekends–and a fab patio area.
Rusty Spur Saloon: Wanting a true Scotsdale cowboy experience? Rusty Spur Saloon is your spot. This small bar packs a punch, too: The historic bar has been around since the 1950s and features live country music every night.
RESTAURANTS
Citizen Public House: For a high-end dining experience, check out Citizen Public House. This upscale restaurant offers creative American cuisine and a great selection of cocktails.
Diego Pops: If you’re in the mood for Mexican food, Diego Pops is a must-visit. This colorful restaurant offers a fun atmosphere and a delicious menu of tacos, margaritas, and more–and an amazing happy hour. I recommend the Brussels Sprout Nachos!
The Montauk: For a beachy vibe in the middle of the desert, make your way to The Montauk. This seafood-focused restaurant offers a great selection of fresh seafood dishes and refreshing cocktails.
Cobre Kitchen: If you’re in the mood for something spicy, Cobre Kitchen is the place to be. This modern Mexican restaurant offers a great selection of tacos, margaritas, and other Mexican-inspired dishes.
ACTIVITIES
Pool Time: One of the best parts about Scottsdale is there’s a massive short-term rental scene with homes with gorgeous backyards. We rented this VRBO, and lounged at the pool for a couple hours – highly recommend! For a rowdier scene, check out one of the popular daytime pool parties at Maya or the WET Deck at the W.
Lake Pleasant: If you’re looking to get out of the city and enjoy the great outdoors, head to Lake Pleasant. This was one of my favorite parts of the weekend. A big, huge thank you to my Uncle Mark and his friend, Captain John, for taking us out on the lake! Lake Pleasant offers plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming, as well as hiking and biking trails.
In conclusion: Scottsdale is an amazing bachelorette destination. Whether you’re in the mood for a night out on the town or a chill day at your rental, this desert city has something for everyone.
