You know what they say: the way to know a city, is through its shopping scene. Okay, nobody really says that, but they should! I moved to Kansas City almost one year ago and have been so impressed by the area’s local boutique scene. There is such a fantastic variety of unique and trendy shops offering everything from fun fashion and accessories to home decor and unique gifts. Here are 20 of the top local boutiques in Kansas City that you should check out:
The French Riviera, also known as the Cote d’Azur, is a stunning region in the southeast corner of France that stretches along the Mediterranean coastline from the Italian border to Saint-Tropez. With its stunning coastline, picturesque villages, and glamorous resorts, the French Riviera is synonymous with the Good Life – and it’s a popular spot for good reason. By far, one of my all-time favorite vacations.

Day 1: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Sabrina’s Cafe, known for their mouth-watering French toast and delicious omelets. From there, head to the Liberty Bell Center, where you can see the famous bell that symbolizes American independence. Next, stroll over to Independence Hall, where both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were signed.
In the fall of 2017, I embarked on a 10-day trip from Wisconsin → Detroit → Toronto → Montreal and back home. To this day, it was the most life-changing trip. There’s just nothing, in my humble opinion, that’ll change you like travel, especially solo travel.
New Glarus may be known as “America’s Little Switzerland” but this charming village in the hills is about as Wisconsin as they come. And that fact in and of itself probably explains why it has long been one of my all-time favorite Wisconsin destinations. There’s just so much to love here.
For those looking to level up their brow game (me, always🙋♀️) two of the most popular options are microblading and ombre powder brows. I have tried both. While both techniques offer long-term results, there are differences in the application, results, and maintenance and there are definitely pros and cons to each. And for me, there’s a clear winner.
